Films for glass conservatory roofs

Asgard window film range includes safety films, solar control films and privacy window filmsRS20c is an optically clear, high reflective, mirrored film. This will enable you to comfortably use your conservatory all year round. During the summer months, when the sun is higher in the sky, film installed to conservatory roof glazing will cut solar heat-gain by 75%. Window film applied to the glass roof will also reduce solar glare by 80% making it easier to read, watch TV or view a computer screen.

Asgard window film range includes safety films, solar control films and privacy window filmsRS35C is an optically clear, medium reflective, mirrored film by filming only the roof panels, in the winter when the sun is lower in the sky, you will still benefit from the warmth of the winter sun through the un-filmed vertical glazing. However, if the solar problem is particularly severe through the vertical glazing too, apply the lighter Reflective Silver 35 film to these panels.

Films for polycarbonate conservatory roofs

Master 80 X is an optically clear, high reflective, mirrored film designed for polycarbonate roofs. Films such as RS20 and RS35 must not be fitted to polycarbonate as it is known that this will be detrimental to the roof.

BiFrost solar film for polycarbonate conservatory roofsBiFrost rejects 74% of solar heat-gain, has a metal appearance and is semi opaque and non reflective - perfect for polycarbonate conservatory roofs. Standard solar control window films should not be applied to polycarbonate roofs as they are incompatible.
