Solar heat-gain reduction with
Reflective Silver 20 SRC that
reflects the sun’s heat away from your conservatory glazing, improving thermal comfort and helping to avoid tiredness and headaches associated with higher temperatures and improves mental alertness.
Solar-control window films can filter unwanted solar energy giving year
round thermal comfort. In summer up to 65% of the sun's energy enters through a conservatory roof making the glazed roof a priority for applying solar control film. Many people find that window film applied only to the glazed roof is normally enough to allow them full use of their conservatory.
With summer sun shining directly on glazing the transmission of solar energy (heat) through the glass can be as much as 750 W/m2 which is the equivalent as that produced by a double panelled radiator of the same size. Conservatory window film will cut up to 75% of the
excess
heat transmitted through the conservatory roof whilst still allowing good light-transmission.
protected by a hard wearing scratch resistant coating that keeps the film looking good for years

solar glare is often an
inconvenience in a conservatory making it difficult to read a
newspaper, write, see the screen of a computer or to watch TV.
Conservatory window film shades
excess sunlight allowing improved visibility and helping to
reduce eyestrain and headaches. Glare can sometimes also be a problem with morning winter sun low in the sky shining through vertical glazing. This problem can be rectified by the application Reflective Silver 35 SRC applied to vertical glazing by cutting glare through this glazing by 58%.
Light levels from the summer sun can often exceed 10,000 lumens. On average natural light level as low as 800 lumens is sufficient to read without the use of electric lights.
Reflective Silver 20 SRC
applied to a conservatory roof will reduce glare by 80%.
provides 'daylight-privacy' allowing views out
whilst providing excellent privacy during daylight hours

fade reduction
performance
is an added benefit that comes
with all of our solar control window films as well as
CW-CW UV SRC (clear UV reduction window film). CW-CW UV can be applied to vertical glazing to help reduce fading in combination with the conservatory solar control film
Reflective Silver 20 SRC applied to the glazed roof.
UV (ultra violet radiation) causes surface degradation of some materials and accounts for 33% of fading. UV filters within the body of the film and in the adhesive system helps to reduce the effect of fading by cutting UV by at least 99%.
ultra violet radiation (UV) is one of the main causes of fading of fabrics, furniture, painted surfaces and natural wood. UV light can also cause complications with certain skin types and conditions.
reduces Ultra Violet Radiation by 99% protecting carpets, fabrics, textiles, painted surfaces, natural wood and your precious skin
