Our Clear 300 micron window film can provide ultimate anti bandit protection to your glazing.  By armouing glass to BS EN classification with its multi laminate construction, it is an ideal solution for glass safety and secuirty.

It can be used in a variety of ways protecting valuable items and large areas of glazing, by providing an extra level of damage prevention.  For example Clear 300 can be used on shop fronts, security gatehouses, kiosks, gazed display cabinets and cashier sceens.

In addition to anti bandit films, MVM Window Films also provide Clear 175 and Clear 200 blast protection films specifically manufactured to meet the international safety glazing standards.  Furthermore, Clear 200 can be used in conjunction with an edge retenion device which bonds the filmed glass to the frame, to prevent catastrophic failure.

These films can be used to reduce the effect of glazing damage during explosions or violent attacks, providing blast mitigation.

MVM Window Films offer advice on whether the glazing in your establishment meets the current standards as laid out in Regulation 14 of the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare).

Regulation 14 states:

Every window or other transparent or translucent surface in a wall or partition and every transparent or translucent surface in a door or gate shall, where necessary for reasons of health and safety - 

A. Be of safety material or be protected against breakage of the transparent or translucent material; and

C. Be appropriately marked or incorporate features so as in either case, to make it apparent.

The regulation requires employers to ensure glass or glazing within critical locations meets a minimum safety standard when subjected to impact.  MVM Window Films can provide glazing surveys and advice as well as a supply and installation service for glass safety regulations.
